Hi! I'm Nathan, a senior majoring in Artificial Intelligence and concentrating in Human-Computer Interaction at the Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science. I like making cool stuff, especially things that bring people together. I'm interested in social networks, recommendation systems, and human computation.
I've worked at Netflix on the Search and Recommendation Innovation Team and at Meta on the In-Stream Ads Team. I've also worked at Fanhouse, a recently acquired a16z-backed social media startup where I built the entire recommendation system via a social graph and trained a neural network for content moderation.
I've cofounded a reverse logistics startup that processed $3,500 GMV within the first two weeks of launching. I've since left to work on something new in the data-centric AI space (launching soon!).
I was a TA for 15112 (Fundamentals of CS) and 07180 (Concepts in AI). I also document my life and give college application advice on my Youtube channel.
